Reservations.
Reservations are available for our indoor tables up to two weeks in advance via Resy. Outdoor seating is available first-come, first-served; no reservations. Walk-ins are always welcome. Once we are full, we maintain a wait list, and we’ll text you when your spots are ready. Reservations are encouraged since we are a cozy spot.
We can only accommodate groups of five or fewer indoors. Groups larger than five need a large party reservation. Please email hi@marthadear.com to check on availability. For groups larger than twenty, we offer the restaurant for buyout. More information can be found on our Events page.
Our outdoor pizza patio is seated in a first-come, first-served fashion—no reservations. We can only accommodate groups of four or fewer outside. Outside, you can order (and pay) directly from your table, and we will take care of the rest.
Fine print.
A credit card is required to book all reservations. No-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation will be charged $15 per person. There are no exceptions for cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking.
To accommodate reservations throughout the evening, we have reservation limits of 1.5 hours for parties of 2, and 2 hours for parties of four. If you are enjoying yourself, and we can move reservations around, we will. If we can’t, we will gently remind you of the time limit when the reservation after you check in.
A 20% service fee is included on all orders to help support our small business pay a livable hourly wage to all non-management employees. Tipping on top of this is not expected, but it is appreciated. A tip of any amount directly impacts the take-home pay for all hourly employees working during the day and evening.
Please note that parking in our neighborhood can be tricky and time-consuming. We recommend taking a ride-share or public transportation instead of driving. We are closest to the Columbia Heights Metro (Green Line).
